Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Final Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the Final Assembly Engineering department, ensuring high-quality and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze equipment specifications and designs to identify potential enhancements.
  • Conduct vendor buyoffs to ensure equipment functionality and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Install and verify the safety, quality, and productivity of new equipment.
  • Investigate and implement necessary modifications to improve equipment performance.
  • Oversee the installation process by vendors and facilitate the kanban process to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct quality trials at the vendor site to minimize adjustment time during vehicle trials.
  • Provide training to maintenance personnel on newly implemented equipment.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time, including potential international assignments.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in PLC programming and troubleshooting, with experience in systems such as Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen Bradley.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical circuits, communication networks, and industrial controls.
  • A technical degree or equivalent work experience in Industrial Maintenance Technology.
  • Proficiency in Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems.
  • The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • A willingness to work overtime and travel as required.
Additional Skills

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in industrial maintenance, particularly with AGVs/AMRs programming.
  • Knowledge of safety scanners and various industrial controls networking.
  • Automotive industry experience.
