Full-time Day Shift
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service while coordinating travel arrangements for residents alongside families and staff.
Ensure all residents are transported safely and punctually to their designated locations.
Comply with all local and state traffic regulations.
Take responsibility for the safety of residents during transportation.
Follow instructions provided by supervisors, both written and verbal.
Maintain proper care and use of equipment, adhering to waste disposal protocols as per corporate policies.
Promote self-esteem and dignity in each resident through consistent kindness, understanding, and patience.
Participate in required training and community activities.
Demonstrate reliability and punctuality by adhering to scheduled work hours.
Collaborate effectively with residents, staff, volunteers, and families to ensure the highest quality of care.
Adhere to all community policies and procedures, including safety, infection control, and residents' rights, as outlined in the employee handbook.
Safeguard the confidentiality of all protected health information encountered during the course of duties, whether electronic, written, or verbal.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 25 years old.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Possess a valid state driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the past year.
Hold a valid CDL, B, C, D, or L class state driver's license as per the community's vehicle requirements.
Pass a driving record check in accordance with Christian Horizons' policy.
CPR certification is preferred.
Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Capable of working independently.
Effective communication skills to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, families, and visitors.
Pass a background check prior to and during employment, as defined by Christian Horizons' policy, with no disqualifications based on specific offenses.
