Cataldo Ambulance is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to join our team. As an AEMT, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient response, treatment, and transportation of patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Quality Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical policies, statewide protocols, and standards of care.
- Operate Ambulance Safely: Operate the ambulance in accordance with safety rules and regulations, company policies, federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutes.
- Complete Documentation: Complete and submit all documentation and paperwork requirements daily.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with EMS agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Massachusetts State Certification: Be Massachusetts state certified.
- CPR Certification: Hold a current CPR certification.
- Background Check: Pass a background check, including CORI.
- Physical Abilities: Possess the physical abilities to lift and maneuver 125 pounds with assistance and without difficulty.
