Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Avera. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform professional nursing functions, utilizing the nursing process to provide total nursing care to patients.
- Coordinate care in an interdisciplinary manner and be responsible for the outcome of nursing care delivered.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient's status.
- Promote and nurture a resident-centered care environment.
- Graduation from a two-year associate degree program, three-year diploma program, or four-year baccalaureate degree program.
- Successful completion of State Board Exams.
- Current license to practice nursing in the State of South Dakota.
- Membership in a professional organization is preferred.
- CPR certification.
- A competitive hourly rate of $46.50 per hour.
