We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-ray films, ensuring high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, and maintaining effective communication with patients and radiologists.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of procedures/studies accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
- Maintain proactive, effective communication with patients and radiologists regarding any findings, patient histories, and test results as appropriate.
- Collaborate and confer with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Associate Degree
