Job Summary:
Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Telemetry Float Pool Nurse. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings.
Job Responsibilities:
- Float between Telemetry and MedSurg units, with possible floating to ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and various holding areas.
- Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hours prior to shift start with potential for midshift floating.
- Work with centralized telemetry to interpret EKGs.
- Provide care for postcath lab, postvascular procedures, CABG, general telemetry patients, and neuro postsurgical cases.
- Administer and titrate medications such as Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine (titrating down only for some).
- Participate in weekend rotations and fulfill the holiday work requirements.
- Wear navy-colored scrubs during shifts.
- Engage in floor-specific orientation and adapt to work on different units and patient populations.
- Utilize the Cerner charting system during shifts.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current RN license in good standing.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to titrate cardiac drips.
- Passing dysrhythmia exam within 2 attempts.
- Successful completion of Sim Lab on orientation day.
