Job Overview

This is a challenging role as Registered Nurse Supervisor in our Levine Cancer Gastrointestinal Medicine department at Atrium Health. As a leader, you will oversee the daily operations and provide direct patient care, ensuring exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the manager to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and administration.
  • Assist with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
  • Coordinate communication among team members to promote dialogue and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to gain insights into patient care, employee, and physician satisfaction.
  • Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers according to applicable legal or policy parameters.
Physical Requirements

The work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. You must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds and speak and understand English fluently.
