This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule during first shift hours.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate closely with the clinical care team to provide exceptional care for our patients.
Encourage open communication among the care team, patients, caregivers, and relevant healthcare providers to enhance outcomes.

Work with fellow team members to identify and address care gaps (chart preparation). Promote improved clinical results and patient satisfaction while optimizing resource utilization.

Serve as a patient advocate to guarantee the highest standard of care.

Prepare medical equipment and conduct related tests as necessary, administer injections, and perform routine specimen collection and point-of-care testing.

Administer vaccines as instructed.
Conduct patient interviews to gather medical histories and concerns.

Measure and document vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight in patients' electronic health records. Responsible for blood draws and specimen processing.

Assist in executing routine medical procedures as required.
Prepare patients and examination rooms for assessments. Drape patients appropriately and position instruments and equipment.
Review physician orders and lab requests, following up as necessary. Process prescriptions and order refills as approved.
Communicate test results to patients as directed.
Support patient education using relevant tools, literature, and handouts.

Assist with necessary forms and patient documentation (including referrals, prior authorizations, or pre-certifications). Respond to patient inquiries via phone as appropriate.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in meetings and engage in training activities as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Licensures & Certifications Preferred:

Current Ohio LPN Licensure Preferred:
LPN Required minimum: Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Excellent customer service skills, social awareness, and service orientation. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
