Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at St. Luke's University Health Network. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Responsibilities- Perform in-depth assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and address patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
- One year of medical/surgical experience, with PACU experience preferred.
- Successful completion of BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
