Job Opportunity: Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Superior Products Distributors Inc is seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and optimize vehicle performance.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to schedule repairs and services that meet business needs without impacting delivery schedules.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and document findings to inform maintenance and repair decisions.
  • Work with mechanics across locations to share knowledge and best practices for vehicle upkeep and repair.
  • Diagnose and repair issues in a timely manner to minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Review and optimize our parts and supplies purchasing process to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement new processes to improve vehicle repair and maintenance efficiency.
  • Follow company incident reporting procedures and assist with insurance claims and repairs as needed.
  • Ensure the security of company vehicles during operation and after hours.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a truck mechanic required.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
