Job Title: Structural Engineering BIM Technician

TechConnect is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineering BIM Technician to join our team in Tulsa, OK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with customers and internal resources to design, construct, and maintain structures and buildings.

Using 3D models to integrate data from multiple disciplines, including construction sequencing, cost, and lifecycle management, you will be responsible for the layout of construction drawings based on architectural plans and models. Coordination with other disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) is crucial in this role.

To succeed in this position, you will need excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as experience working effectively with leadership and customers. You must be willing to accept increasing levels of responsibility while demonstrating continued and progressive technical and leadership training. Additionally, you will need to be able to work independently and prioritize and manage your time to handle multiple tasks and meet company/project deadlines.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • A Certificate of Achievement in Drafting and Computer-Aided Design Technology or equivalent, or an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design Engineering Technology is preferred.
  • Individuals with 3-7 years of BIM Technician experience are highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and Civil3D platforms is required.
  • Experience in OpenPlant and Navisworks is a plus.
