We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the University of Maryland Medical Center Baltimore Washington. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established nursing standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to support staff, promoting efficient and effective care delivery.
- Stay current with standards of practice through ongoing education and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements.
- BSN preferred; one-year nursing experience required.
- Current CPR certification and ACLS/PALS completion within one year of employment in designated departments.
- Maintenance of 10 contact hours of education every two years and membership in a professional organization.
