Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Casual Pool team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of patients.

About the Role

This position involves providing direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process, and serving as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work within the nursing process to provide direct nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Serve as a role model to promote a positive work environment and quality patient care.
  • Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Patient care assignment may include; Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A program graduate degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate certification.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days.
  • RN license in New Mexico or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by New Mexico.
