Network Coordinator

Overview

The Network Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of the ARH computer network equipment and peripherals. This role requires a strong understanding of computer systems and network infrastructure.

• Assure that computer and telephone equipment installations meet vendor specifications and codes.
• Coordinate the use, maintenance, and repair of computer network equipment.
• Maintain a schematic of the ARH computer network equipment to aid in planning and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate the quality of computer network equipment and maintenance.
• Assist in procedural training and maintain inventory of installed and replacement equipment.
• Recommend proper network monitoring, testing tools, and associated software.

• Associate degree in Computer Science and two years of related experience, or four years of related experience.
• Successful completion of courses in Data Communications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

The Network Coordinator must possess the physical ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Maintain records of equipment inventory, equipment location, maintenance activity, and network configuration.
• Assure that computer network equipment is installed and maintained according to specifications and in the proper location.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field to recommend new services, products, and equipment.
