Job Summary

OCLI Vision is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Scribe 2 to join our team. As a critical member of our success, you will be responsible for accurately documenting real-time interactions between our providers and patients. Your advanced knowledge of coding and excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with all specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts and rooms for exams based on physician requirements and preferences
• Accurately document patient-provider interactions in the patient's chart
• Track testing and medication orders
• Provide exceptional service and care to patients
• Educate patients on testing, procedures, and prescription instructions
• Perform ophthalmic procedures and testing, including auto-refraction, visual acuity, and tonometry
• Audit patient charts for accuracy

Requirements

• Experienced medical scribe with advanced knowledge of coding
• Cross-trained to work with all specialties
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
• Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus
