Physician - OB Hospitalist

We are seeking a highly skilled OB Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent Medical Group. As an OB Hospitalist, you will be responsible for managing labor and delivery, providing urgent postpartum care, and caring for unassigned patients in the OB Unit or Emergency Room.
Responsibilities- Manage labor and delivery, including cesarean deliveries, as requested by generalist physicians
- Provide urgent postpartum care as requested by assigned physicians
- Care for all unassigned patients in the OB Unit or Emergency Room
- Triage patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted
- Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults and actions as requested
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- 2 years of experience in OB Hospitalist medicine
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
