Janitorial Position at Local Middle School

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitorial Support Staff at a local Middle School. As a member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, classrooms, and office space
  • Dispose of trash and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Move furniture and equipment as needed, including athletic event setup
  • Clean and sanitize locker rooms, restrooms, and drinking fountains
  • Assist with setup and teardown of indoor athletic events
  • Clean spills and collect trash during indoor athletic events
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs while standing, bending, and twisting for a minimum of 8 hours
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
