Wilson Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse to join our team in the North Dayton, Ohio area. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterizations, vascular, and other interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pertinent, accurate assessments and determine the total nursing needs of assigned patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other hospital departments to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care for each patient.
- Interview patients and/or significant others and complete initial assessments in a timely manner.
- Develop, update, and evaluate individualized age-specific plans of care, including goals, nursing actions, expected outcomes, and evaluation.
- Participate in patient/family education and evaluate and modify the plan of care based on observable responses of the patient and attainment of patient goals.
- Ensure open and timely communication with patients, significant others, and healthcare team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions.
- Demonstrate clinical competency in pre-admission testing, pre-operative, intra-operative, and postoperative care through the application of the Nursing Process.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Maintains certification in BLS and ACLS.
- Previous Critical Care Experience.
- Current license as R.N. in the state of Ohio.
