About the RoleThis travel occupational therapist position requires a motivated and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, advocating for patients' needs and ensuring access to necessary resources and support services.
As an Occupational Therapist at Magnet Medical, you will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, evaluating physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, and creating comprehensive evaluation reports. You will also develop and implement individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals for improvement, and recommend appropriate therapeutic activities and exercises.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to understand patients' needs, strengths, limitations, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, addressing specific patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, sensory processing, and social interaction.
- Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process, techniques, and strategies for enhancing functional independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and participate in care planning meetings.
