Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities, and fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage resources efficiently, including personnel, budget, and materials, monitoring resource usage and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, monitoring and managing risk throughout the project life cycle.
  • Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations, and addressing concerns to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, implementing testing and quality control measures to meet specifications.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, making adjustments as necessary, and create and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress against timelines.
  • Address issues and challenges promptly, implementing corrective actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and archive project documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews, including lessons learned analyses, and ensure final documentation is completed and archived appropriately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proven experience managing the development of new products in a highly technical environment (minimum 3 years). Turbomachinery specific experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to balance technical requirements with project constraints effectively.
  • Hands-on willingness to jump in and help fellow engineers and technicians with assembly, testing, and/or data collection.
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder.
