The Converse County Library is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Library Director. This is a full-time, benefited position that requires advanced knowledge in the field of library science and the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.

• Administration and management of the library, including planning, directing, and supervising all library programs and services.
• Fiscal management, including budgeting and financial planning.
• Information technology, including the development and implementation of technology systems and services.
• Collection development, including the selection and acquisition of library materials.
• Personnel supervision, including the management of library staff.
• Public relations, including the development and implementation of marketing and outreach strategies.
• Facilities maintenance and planning, including the management of library facilities and the development of long-term plans for library growth and development.
