Job Description & Requirements

As a contract nurse RN Med Surg, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. You will also supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and support the facility CNO to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

TRA offers a preferred booking agreement for local contracts, guaranteed hours for travel contracts, and a contract security compared to working with an outside agency.

Minimum education requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited School of nursing. Preferred education includes an academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree). Minimum experience requires 2 years of nursing experience with a minimum of one year current experience in their nursing specialty in an Acute Care hospital setting.

Required certification/licensure includes being currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy. CPR-Basic Life Support – American Heart Association certification is also required.
