Job Title: MRI Technologist

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Alexandria, Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in our diagnostic imaging department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements:
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist
  • Experience working in a diagnostic imaging department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
