Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and service on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Mechanical Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components, including motors, gear boxes, drive chains, and conveyor belts.
  • Hydraulic System Maintenance: Repair and troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, flow problems, solenoids, and pumps.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Engineering and other technicians to order and install replacement parts for machines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Work with Operations to identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns and maintain equipment running efficiently.
  • Electrical Maintenance: Make minor wiring repairs and troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
  • Machinery Installation and Dismantling: Repair, install, and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans, which involves working at heights and using mobile equipment.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read blueprints and wiring diagrams for the installation and repair of equipment and the facility.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe work area and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Some vocational or community college with related coursework, preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or a relevant field.
  • Skills: Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills, ability to operate shop tools, and basic mathematical skills.
