Role Summary:

We are seeking a proficient Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage receiving, storage, and distribution activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency of our warehousing and distribution functions, which encompass order processing, packaging, shipping, and preparation for next-day deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless warehouse operations, guaranteeing accurate material shipments and continuous improvement in service levels.
  • Report directly to the Profit Center Manager.
  • Implement and uphold best practices in warehouse organization and safety.
  • Drive process enhancement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain excellent organizational skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL endorsement is not necessary.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience operating trucks weighing up to 10,000 lbs (non-CDL).

Working Environment:

The role is set in a warehouse environment with concrete flooring and outdoor conditions, which may include exposure to extreme temperatures. Some tasks may require prolonged periods of sitting.

Supervisory Duties: Yes

Essential Functions:

  • Strategically oversee warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and vision.
  • Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance tasks.
  • Develop, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Manage inventory control and assist in stock reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and transportation companies.
  • Plan work schedules, delegate tasks, and evaluate performance.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate team members.
  • Regularly produce reports and statistics on warehouse operations.
  • Gather feedback and monitor service quality.
