Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Trial Lawyer Specialist to join our team in Southfield, MI. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, including handling No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability litigation. A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials are required. Additionally, the candidate must have an active license to practice law in Michigan and be a member in good standing with the state bar.

In this role, you will work closely with our team to manage a caseload of time-sensitive cases and provide exceptional legal representation to our clients. Your strong automation and technological skills will enable you to efficiently handle lawsuits and present cases in court. Experience working in a paperless environment is also a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of complex insurance defense cases
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of case laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement effective trial strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
  • An active license to practice law in Michigan and membership in good standing with the state bar
  • Strong automation and technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
