The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, promoting the growth and independence of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care assistance with daily living activities
  • Implementing behavior management plans and supporting individuals in developing coping strategies
  • Facilitating skill-building activities, including social skills, communication, and life skills training
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Maintaining accurate records of client progress and daily activities

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Social Work preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), DSP, Direct Care, Behavior Technician experience preferred
  • Able to work at least one weekend day and holidays
