Job Summary

The Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up and operating production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure final products meet customer expectations by securing and maintaining materials and supplies required for operation.
  • Complete work area setup and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Continuously monitor equipment to ensure quality and stack completed products according to established procedures.
  • Operate hand tools to complete assembly processes and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Complete preshift equipment inspection checklist and report any problems or concerns.
  • Maintain production records as required and check materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
  • Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
  • Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling required.
  • Working knowledge of basic math.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
