Job Title: DOT Driver

At Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc., we are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious DOT Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe handling and timely delivery of merchandise between our distribution centers, company stores, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport merchandise between distribution centers, company stores, and customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
  • Load and unload merchandise manually or using a pallet jack, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Requirements:
  • Class A CDL issued by the appropriate state.
  • HazMat Endorsement or ability to quickly obtain.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • At least 6 months of related experience and/or training.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
