Machine Technician

As a key member of our production team, the Machine Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging equipment. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including setup, sanitization, and repair, to ensure optimal performance and meet production requirements.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on packaging equipment to prevent downtime and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor production personnel and provide guidance and support as needed to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues, using root cause analysis to identify and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, scheduling, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
- Develop and implement training plans for production personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- 3+ years of experience in a production maintenance shop, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
