The estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining parts, working with manual, automatic, and CNC machine tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or CAD and CAM files to accurately manufacture parts.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T).
  • Set up, operate, and disassemble various machine tools, including manual, automatic, and CNC equipment.
  • Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces to ensure accurate machining.
  • Design and build fixtures for machining parts.
  • Monitor machine feed and speed to achieve optimal results.
  • Machining parts to precise specifications and maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Using gauges and measuring instruments to meet quality control standards.
  • Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet quality requirements.
Requirements
  • Candidate should possess completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or at least 5 years of experience as a Machinist.
  • Journeyman certification is highly valued.
