Position Overview

Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN for a critical role in our Telemetry Unit. This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.

Certification Requirements
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret EKGs is essential.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including neuro overflow, CVAs, trauma, and general surgery.
  • Maintain compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements or provide appropriate documentation for declination.
  • Complete a dysrhythmia exam prior to commencement of the assignment (maximum of 2 attempts).
  • Participate in a pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation, with study materials provided.
Experience Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience is required.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and state licensure or compact license are necessary.
  • Successful completion of the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam is required prior to acceptance.
Work Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • Every other weekend commitment is expected.
  • Floor-specific orientation will last for 2 days.
Unit Details
  • Unit: B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry and Neuro.
  • Patient-to-nurse ratios: 1:3-4.
  • Charge Nurse will have no patient assignment.
  • Support staff includes Patient Care Technicians at a ratio of 1 per 13 patients.
  • Common patient types include neuro, CVAs, and pulmonary cases.
Additional Information
  • Travelers are expected to float to a sister facility as needed.
  • Scrub color for the unit is navy.
  • RT and Pharmacy services are available 24/7.
