Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support to the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and contribute to students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the supervision of the SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Prepare therapy materials and activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Current South Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
