Job Title: Neurophysiologist (Tucson, AZ)

Globus Medical is a leading provider of innovative medical solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiologist to join our team in Tucson, AZ.

About the Role:

As a Neurophysiologist, you will play a critical role in providing intraoperative neuromonitoring services to surgeons and healthcare facilities. Your expertise will help ensure the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain detailed medical histories and consult with surgeons to determine patient structures at risk and modalities to be monitored.
  • Communicate monitoring information to surgeons and surgical teams throughout the case.
  • Display and label waveforms for marking, measuring, and calculating information such as latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times.
  • Identify appropriate protocols and perform troubleshooting techniques to ensure accurate data collection.
  • Complete all required documentation and prepare IOM logs, files, and timely file uploads.
  • Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and conduct required maintenance checks.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and no previous professional experience.
  • Must be CNIM eligible via one pathway as defined by the ABRET website.
  • Knowledge of Intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or human anatomy & physiology and/or technical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Operating Room (OR) experience preferred.
  • Strong time management & organizational skills, and ability to manage competing demands, frequent change, delays, and/or unexpected events in scheduling and in the operating room on a daily basis.
  • Effective communication skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting.
