Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 9-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- State License-Respiratory Therapist-Louisiana.
- Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
This is an acute care community hospital servicing the residents and surrounding communities. The hospital is supported by several satellite health centers offering primary care, urgent care, and specialty care appointments, as well as other clinical services.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
