CNA Instructor

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a per diem CNA Instructor for our Acute Care Earn to Learn program at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

• Utilize the state-required nursing assistant curriculum to plan lessons, educate students, and evaluate student participation and learning over each 9-week class session.
• Work collaboratively with academic and administrative leadership to assess the needs and objectives of students and organization and to develop appropriate solutions.
• Develop teaching outlines and selects or develops teaching aids/activities as appropriate.
• Monitor students' progress throughout assigned courses and provide support and resources as appropriate.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MaineGeneral team as a per diem CNA Instructor for our Acute Care Earn to Learn program at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta.

• Current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one in a timely fashion, required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse: at least 1 year experience in the area of Long Term Care is required.
• Completed a course in teaching adults and/or experience in teaching adults or supervising CNAs, required.
