Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Admissions Representative to join our team at the University System of New Hampshire. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in supporting the college recruitment application and admission process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage office email, online chat, and daily phone inquiries from students, parents, and staff, directing them to the appropriate source when necessary.
  • Support the completion of applications, including entering, scanning, indexing, coding, generating decision letters, and ongoing communication with students and families.
  • Scan and index all documentation received to students' records.
  • Serve as the initial and primary contact for prospects and applicants to the University in Manchester, providing quality and responsive constituent service on the phone, in person, and virtually.
  • Maintain knowledge about college and university processes and policies to effectively advise applicants.
  • Transcript data entry in Banner.
  • Maintain contacts' records in the CRM with updates on activity, including setting up counselor appointments, event registration, campus tours, etc.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Manage the Student Admission Ambassadors, including hiring, management, work assignments, disciplinary actions, and providing supervision and training.
  • Support the implementation of student ambassador and faculty outreach and calling programs, including generating reports and tracking outcomes.
  • Manage and approve student timesheets.
  • Support ongoing individual and group communication and processes from initial prospect outreach to inquiry to registration and R+30.
  • Develop content for email blasts and create reports to distribute communication.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communication to verify web content and functionality within web.
  • Support report generation from CRM data.
  • Responsible for event logistics, including reserving rooms/venues for admissions events and meetings, coordinating accurate posting of events on web, CRM, and tracking distribution of invitations and other materials as well as event registration.
Requirements
  • High school graduation and seven years of related experience involving duties of increasing responsibility requiring discretion and independent judgment, or Associate's Degree and five years of related experience, or a combination of higher education and related experience equal to seven years.
  • Advanced computer skills, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in public relations, office supervision, grant-funded programs, marketing, telecommunications, or publications as specified by department.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
