Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the community for decades. Our mission is to provide affordable housing for low-income families.
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site, supervising volunteers, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
**Responsibilities:**
- Supervise construction volunteers in a manner that encourages future participation, with an emphasis on safety, quality fellowship and mission.
- Assure that each job site is properly maintained and orderly, and that each home under construction has the appropriate display of permits and signs.
- Address all safety concerns promptly and ensure that a first aid kit, directions to emergency care, and drinking water are available at each work site.
- Meet or exceed annual build plan as determined and approved by the SIHH Board of Directors.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in construction management or supervision.
- Ability to supervise and train volunteers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
