Water Resources Engineer Opportunity

Davis & Floyd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources team in South Carolina.

The selected candidate will work in a strong team environment of highly motivated professionals, providing hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and stormwater and floodplain management studies and design in support of regional drainage improvements and public infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will participate in the planning, coordination, production, and management of detailed designs for our Water Resources team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater and floodplain management studies
  • Design and manage stormwater and floodplain management projects
  • Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality designs and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of stormwater and floodplain management, and the theory and practice of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of South Carolina or ability to obtain such through reciprocity
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with H&H modeling software
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil3D and Esri ArcGIS
