Sauk County, WI is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our Corporation Counsel Department in delivering legal services to our community.
Job Summary:The Paralegal will perform a wide range of professional, confidential, and legal-related services and research to assist the Corporation Counsel and staff attorneys. This includes assisting with Guardianship, Protective Placement, and TPR/CPS files, compiling data, coordinating case processing, and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with legal research and document preparation
- Compile and maintain case files and records
- Coordinate with other law firms, courts, and agencies
- Provide administrative support to the Corporation Counsel and staff attorneys
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associates degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2 years of office or secretarial/paralegal experience
- Preferred: Associates degree in Paralegal studies or 3 years of paralegal/legal office experience
