Job Title: Pipefitter Specialist
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Specialist to join our team in the Baltimore, MD area. As a Pipefitter Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in a heavy industrial and mechanical contractor environment.
**Responsibilities:**
* Install, maintain, and repair piping systems made of carbon steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, PVC, HDPE, and copper pipes
* Run piping through active industrial production facilities
* Understand P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings
* Field route piping where appropriate and required by the client
* Work with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel
**Requirements:**
* 2-5 years of previous construction experience, preferably as a Mechanical Contractor or Prime Contractor in an industrial environment
* Understanding of plans, specifications, P&IDs, and ISOs
* Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
* Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week (Mon - Thu on a (4) 10's schedule), with flexibility to work overtime as required
**Experience:**
* Familiarity with carbon steel, stainless steel, fiberglass, PVC, HDPE, and copper pipes
* Experience running piping through active industrial production facilities
* Understanding of P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and ability to coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings
