About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL A local truck driver to join our team at Meijer Logistics. As a family-owned company, we prioritize career growth and community development for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Class A equipment to deliver goods from distribution centers to Meijer stores within established timeframes.
  • Pick up backhauls at various vendors and transport them to distribution centers in a timely manner.
  • Perform yard switching and trailer movement as needed.
  • Ensure professionalism and responsibility at all times.
Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have a minimum of one year of truck driving experience or complete a credited truck driving school.
  • Hold a valid CDL A license with a Hazmat endorsement (if not already obtained, must be able to obtain).
  • Have no moving violations in the past year.
  • Have no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
  • Pass a road test conducted by Meijer Private Fleet management.
  • Pass a DOT driver physical and pre-employment drug test.
  • Be able to work nights, days, holidays, and weekends.
