Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Team Lead to join our GetGo team. As a Restaurant Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional food service. You will also provide guidance and coaching to team members, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team and ensure that food service is delivered to a high standard.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
  • Ensure that all team members are cross-trained on all positions to maintain maximum flexibility in scheduling.
  • Focus on flexibility and be ready to lead the team in the kitchen at one moment and then step in as a GoGetter at the next.
  • Proactively monitor competitor fuel pricing and work with business partners to remain competitive.
  • Ensure that all team members have access to the right training and resources.
  • Provide training and leadership to hourly team members in the store, and when assigned, to peer leads as well.
  • Supervise product merchandising and integrity by ensuring that all equipment consistently passes safety audits and that the appropriate team members on the schedule are certified in food safety.
  • Set and promote sales and performance goals for your team and provide them with the tools to reach those goals.
  • Identify strengths and opportunities on your team and think strategically when making moves and scheduling.
  • Nurture an environment of inclusion and diversity, keeping in mind that each team member has a voice.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role and food service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification or licensing in food safety preferred.
  • Lifting requirement: up to 50 pounds.
