As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments are available and in good working condition. You will assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and other items needed during surgery. You will also anticipate the needs of the surgical team and adjust instruments and equipment accordingly. Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room is crucial, and you will follow strict infection control procedures. Additionally, you will transport patients to and from the operating room and position them on the operating table. You will assist with the preparation and application of sterile dressings and bandages. Documenting procedures and maintaining accurate records of supplies and equipment used is also essential. Finally, you will clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after surgery.

Nurses First Solutions offers a competitive pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. We are a nurses staffing agency built by nurses for nurses, dedicated to helping healthcare professionals like you.
