Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive sales through effective communication with customers, including upselling and promoting products.
  • Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in the store, including restocking shelves and sweeping floors.
  • Ring sales and maintain cash control, including handling cash, operating the register, and processing transactions.
  • Perform all regular cleaning activities, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Forecast, order, and stock merchandise, including receiving and processing inventory shipments.
  • Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors and ensure accurate inventory counts.
Requirements

To be successful as a Retail Sales Associate, you must be able to:

  • Stand for long periods of time and move frequently throughout the store.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, and reach to stock shelves and perform other tasks.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, including speaking and listening skills.
  • Be reliable, honest, and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to customer service.
