Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at the City of Cocoa, FL. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for performing technical electronic and electrical work involving the installation, alteration, modification, maintenance, repair, and calibration of electronic systems and electrical equipment systems, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems and perform repair to electrical panels, lighting, and circuitry, actuators, and controllers.
  • Install and repair electrical equipment, instrumentation equipment, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems, locate, and correct instrument and electrical power failures.
  • Report and document results of inspections and work performed.
  • Perform cleanup and housekeeping tasks of the work area, tools, and equipment used.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certificate with one (1) year of experience in the electrical and electronic trade; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience for a total of greater than two (2) years.
  • Valid current State of Florida driver's license or ability to acquire one within 45 days of hire.
