Job Summary:

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall condition of our buildings and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure all facilities are fully operational and meet life safety, fire prevention, and security program requirements.
  • Monitor facility programs and services to ensure tasks are performed efficiently and in compliance with all building codes.
  • Assist in performing Facility Condition Assessment Program data gathering and management for integration into the Integrated Work Management System (IWMS).
  • Notify facility leads and building occupants of utility outages and perform facility maintenance and service request initiation and status tracking.
  • Assist building occupants with clear-out efforts prior to major facility renovations and verify and maintain building, space, and seating signage.
  • Communicate findings from field surveys and coordinate updates to floorplans for seating in IWMS.
  • Act as a delegate for the Facility Lead to perform employee move tasks and seat updates in IWMS.
  • Escort maintenance contractors and subcontractors to certain locations on base.
Requirements:
  • Clear background investigation and clear driver's license.
  • Preferred 3 years of general maintenance experience.
