Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $300,000 and $450,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This figure includes competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Job Description: As a Cardiac Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia and care for patients undergoing cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery. Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and restoration of homeostasis during the perioperative period, as well as homeostasis in the critically ill, injured, or otherwise seriously ill patient
  • Assessment of, consultation for, and preparation of patients for anesthesia including pre-operative patient exam and assessment
  • Supervision, teaching, and evaluation of performance of both medical and paramedical personnel in anesthesia, respiratory, and critical care
  • Provision of insensibility to pain during surgical, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures and the management of patients so affected
  • Clinical management and teaching of cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation. Evaluation of respiratory function and application of respiratory therapy in all its forms

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
  • United States Citizenship
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
  • Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
  • Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of the Veterans Affairs in Anesthesiology in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
  • The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS required
  • The candidate should have completed an accredited Anesthesiology program in the United States and be board certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
  • Minimum of two years of current experience, 3 years preferred
  • DEA Required. NPI must be Submitted
  • Cardiac Fellowship Trained (TAVR Expertise/Experienced)
  • Cardiac Surgery Certification (Preferred)
  • English Language Proficiency. Spanish Language is a plus
