Role Highlights

Epic Travel Staffing is on the lookout for a Travel - Cardiac Cath Tech

Shift: Days / 7:30 AM - 4 PM, 8x5, 40 hours weekly, with one weekend commitment per month

Duration: 13 weeks

On Call Requirement: Yes, 6-8 nights monthly with one weekend per month

Qualifications:

  • Kansas State License
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Experience with Adult and Geriatric patient populations
  • Background in community hospital settings
  • BLS Certification
  • RCIS or ARRT Certification
  • Preferred experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
  • EP and Structural experience is a plus
Experience Required: 1 year, First-Time Travelers Welcome, Daily Caseload: 12-16 patients, 5 procedure rooms (2 Cath, 2 IR, 1 EP), Weekend Requirement: 1 per month, Float Requirement: None, On Call Requirement: Yes, 6-8 nights monthly with one weekend per month, Block Scheduling: Case by case, RTO Parameters: Must be approved prior to signing
Certification Requirements: BLS and Kansas State License (if ARRT) are mandatory. Must hold either ARRT or RCIS certification.
Additional Information: Experience with Adult and Geriatric patient demographics is essential. Community hospital experience is necessary. Preference for candidates with both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience. EP and Structural experience is desirable but not required.
Department Overview: The Cath Lab performs diagnostic catheterizations and interventions including Shockwave, IFR, IVUS, Roto, CSI, IABP, and Impella. TEEs and Cardioversions are also conducted in the Cath Lab. EP procedures include EP studies, PPM implants, AICD implants, and BI V implants. Interventional Radiology procedures include arteriograms, PICCs, Ports, Dialysis work, tubes, and drains.
