Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
    • Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
    • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Participate in safety training programs and report any safety incidents.
    • Contribute to a safe work environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Qualifications
    • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license.
    • BLS and ACLS certifications.
    • ONS certifications/education in medical oncology, breast oncology, or radiation oncology.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in oncology nursing.
    • Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
Requirements
  • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license.
